He is survived by: his wife Inez Collins Barnes of Gainesville; his children, Brenda (Keith Purser), Linda (Mike Savage), Diane (Grady Davis) and Ricky (Lindy Barnes); his grandchildren, Anna Brooke, Michael, Kayla, Josh, Brett, Brandy and Dana; and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Lucas, Lyndee, Deanna, Jake, Barrett, Blakely, Quinn, Allie May, Kaely and Chase.
