She was predeceased by: her parents, William Corbett Cooper and Dolya Inez Cantrell Cooper; her husband Dr. James Ransom; her granddaughter Christian Faith Guthrie; her son-in-law Jack Marcus Guthrie; and her siblings, Mozelle Glover, James Cooper and William H. Cooper (Buck).
She is survived by: her children, Judy Ransom Knight (Johnny), Elaine Ransom Guthrie, Teresa Ransom Merck (Steve) and Rev. Philip Ransom (Karen); her sisters-in-law, Wilda Cooper and Becky Roberts; her close friends, Joan Black and Mickie Massey; and also Gwen Johnson. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Due to the rise in COVID the family has asked that anyone who feels uncomfortable please wear a mask and follow all social distancing guidelines.
