He was predeceased by: his father Felix H. Sheffield. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Hayes; his daughters, Kimberly Sheffield and Scarla Shae Burkett; and his siblings, Whit Sheffield and Shirley Manning. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
