It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye Hardy McLeroy in Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on June 23, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eva Hardy and Henry Hardy; her husband James C. "Jim" McLeroy of Bogart; her daughter Kathryn McLeroy Boltwood; her son-in-law George M. Boltwood; her son James David McLeroy; her daughter-in-law Laurie K. McLeroy; her grandchildren, Megan A. Batcheller Brent A. (C. Andy Batcheller) and Mahlon K. McLeroy; and her great grandchildren, Leighton E., Harper A. Batcheller and Banks M. Boltwood.
Given the circumstances of the Covid-19 virus, and in keeping with wanting all to be safe, services for Faye will be graveside only at Bogart First Baptist Church in Bogart, Ga. on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in her memory be given to the Ministry of Caring, First Baptist Church of Gainesville, 751 Green Street NW, Gainesville, Georgia 30501.
