It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Grant (Gainesville, Georgia), born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Vernon Murphy; her husband Gary Grant; her children, Scott Gary Grant (Lisa) of Pendergrass and Amy Rebecca Grant (Chris) of Flowery Branch; her parent Dayron Murphy; her grandchildren, Sarah Durrence, Grant Durrence, Anna Grant, Rebecca Grant, Samuel Grant and David Grant; her brother Stan (Tracy) of Gillsville; her nephew Cody Murphy of Gainesville; her sisters-in-law, Ann Gibson (Lake) of Cumming, Lynn Hulsey (Bill) and Patti Kravitz (Paul) of Dawsonville; her nephew Chad Gibson (Lisa) of Murrayville; her niece Kim Coffey (Gary) of Cumming; her great-nieces, Catherine Gibson, Lauren Gibson of Murrayville and Olivia Coffey of Cumming; and also Gary.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial donations be made either to Eagle Ranch or Choices Pregnancy Care Center.
