She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Virgil Martin, Sr. and Roxie Jones Martin; her husband Wayne Henry Byers, Sr.; her son Jerry Doyle Byers; and her siblings, Clifton Martin, H. V. (Bernice Martin), Ray (Mary Nell Martin), Lucille (Voyle Emmett) and Bernice (Gene Mooney).
She is survived by: her sons, Wayne H. (Bobbie Gail Byers) and Alvin (Karen Byers); her grandchildren, Hannah (Melvin Reynolds), Lamar Byers and Joel (Carrie Ann Byers); her great grandchildren, Gabriel Reynolds, Josiah Byers and Noah Byers; and her sister-in-law Ila Belle Martin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
