Ethelene Mooney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2024, at the age of 100, Ethelene Mooney of Gainesville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Broadus and Tinnie Verona Kanaday Bowen; her husband Lee Mooney; her grandson Eric Mooney; and her sisters, Mary (Henry Kitchens) and Nell (Alvin Couch).
She is survived by: her daughter Linda; her son-in-law Don Watson of Gainesville; her son Larry; her daughter-in-law Sherree Mooney of Gainesville; and her grandchildren, Heather Miltiades of Savannah, Matthew (Evie Watson) of Edmonton Alberta, Canada, Michael Watson of Gainesville, Seth (Nicole Mooney) of Clermont, Nyssa (Chad Green) of Murrayville and Ross (Janea Mooney) of Grayson, GA. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
