He was predeceased by: his father Eliseo Martinez-Ponce. He is survived by: his wife Matilde Martinez of Gainesville; and his children, Edgar Martinez of Gainesville, Sulma Martinez (Denis Raudales) and Rita (Kevin Silas). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
