With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor B. Martin Fortner (Gainesville, Georgia), born in Habersham, Georgia, who passed away on March 24, 2021 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rila Alexander and Lillie Woodall; her husband William David Fortner; her son Wesley Raymond Fortner; and her brother Leon Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Williams (Jimmy) of Gainesville, William David Fortner, Jr. (Sherry) of Alto and Anthony Fortner (Rejonah) of Flowery Branch; her grandchildren, David Fortner, J. T. Williams, Robert Williams, Kacey McConnell, Jackson Moon and Walker Moon; her great grandchildren, Josh Williams, Nikki Williams and Blake Williams; and her siblings, Elizabeth London (Homer) of Cornelia and Donald Martin (Anita) of Decatur. She is also survived by nieces nephews and other special family members and friends.
Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
