He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Bales Tanner; his son Michael (Mary Tanner); his grandchildren, Marilla, Michaela and Miles Tanner; his sons, Scott Tanner of Gainesville, Georgia and Greg (Molly Tanner); his grandchildren, Lydia and George Tanner; his daughter Kelly (Josh Austin); his grandchildren, Eli, Jaxon and Carter Austin; his son Jody (Briana Tanner); his grandson Dean Tanner; his son Casey Tanner of Gainesville, Georgia; his siblings, Gene, Nell Parks of Gainesville, Georgia and James; his sister-in-law Martha Tanner of Gainesville, Georgia; his brother Larry; his sister-in-law Ann Tanner of Gainesville, Georgia; and his nieces and nephews, Beth Kroening, Julie Wells, Michelle Dowdy, Gina Adams, David Tanner, Stephen Tanner and Chad Tanner. He is also survived by numerous cousins and other beloved extended family.
