It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Helen Peppel of Gainesville, Georgia, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Hamer and Sophie Hamer (Selchau); her son John Peppel; and her husband Theodore Frank Peppel. She is survived by: her daughter Susan Peppel; her granddaughter Nicole (Robert Proctor); her great grandchild John Michael Peppel; and her daughter-in-law Stella Steffen (Michael).
