It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald J. Smallwood of Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Smallwood and Lizzie Mae Smallwood; and his brothers, Edward Smallwood (Geraldine) and Milton Smallwood (Sylvia). He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Sherry Mays (Charles), Greg Smallwood (Mary) and Jay Smallwood (Tuesday); his grandchildren, Blake Cain, Brooke Cain (Cole), Bam Cain, Trent Smallwood (Lori), Lance Smallwood (Bailie), Abby Smallwood and AJ Smallwood (Bailey); and his siblings, Randall Smallwood (Jackie) and Joyce Ferguson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
