He was predeceased by: his wife Glenda Marie Bailey; his parents, Paul Erwin and Beulah Erwin (McCraw); and his siblings, Dale, Jack, George, Jim, Erba and Jean.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marilyn Cockerell of Clay City, Illinois and Jerry Erwin (Donna) of Olney, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Audrey Erwin of Olney, Illinois, Dr. Jace Erwin (Kelly) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Liza Erwin of Tampa, Florida, Keller Erwin, Jaxx Erwin of Pittsburgh, Kansas, Steven Margherio (Katelyn) of Gainesville and Sara Garrison (Marc) of Cumming, Georgia.. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery.
