It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Don Carter (Gainesville, Georgia), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 7, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Lucile Fortuna Carter; his children, Dee Ann Benton (David) of Gainesville, Steve Carter of Gainesville and Doug Carter (Sandy) of Gainesville; his grandchildren, Laura Lane Louie (Thomas) of Greenville, SC, Mark Benton (Lindsey) of Ann Arbor, MI and Lauren Carter of Los Angeles, CA; and his great grandchildren, Ann Carter Louie, Camille Louie, Emmie Benton and Kate Benton.
