He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Thomas and Dorothy Lou Gailey Thomas; and his wife Paulette Wellborn Thomas. He is survived by: his brother Rev. Dewey; and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Thomas of Gainesville, Jim and Judy Baxter of Valdosta. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
