The passing of Deloris Jane O'Shields of Gainesville, Georgia, born in Cornelia, Georgia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton O'Shields and Rosa Allison O'Shields. She is survived by: her sons, Alton (Jennifer Lee) and Jonathan M. (Sara Lee); her grandchildren, Dawson, Annabeth, Matthew, Katie and Gavin Lee; her sisters, Nancy Robinson, Brenda O'Shields and Elaine; her brother-in-law Keith Miller; and her niece Relynda Barrett.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Park Riverside Chapel (989 Riverside Dr, Gainesville, GA 30501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
