He is survived by: his parent Cora Bowen Nichols; his son Dale Nichols of Blairsville; his daughter-in-law Fran Nichols of Blairsville; his children, Craig Nichols of Gainesville and Sharon Davenport of Gainesville; his son-in-law Donald Davenport of Gainesville; his son Alan Nichols of Gainesville; his daughter-in-law Loretta Nichols of Gainesville; his grandchildren, William Nichols, John Nichols, Grant Nichols and Amber Merritt; and his great grandchild Owen Merritt.
