With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cynthia Hudson of Gainesville, Georgia, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on August 1, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward O. Ault, Sr. and Rosa Lee Smeltzer; her husband Linwood Hudson; and her brother Edward O. Ault, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Brenda; her son-in-law Tommy Nix of Flowery Branch; her grandchildren, Matthew (Kim Nix), Ginny Nix-Gonzalez and Caleb (Hannah Nix); and her great grandchildren, Taylor Nix, Ethan Wood, Chase Nix, Kate Gonzalez, Riley Nix, Jonathan Gonzalez and Cora Ruth Nix.
