It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Colleene Potts Ivey of Gainesville, Georgia, born in Alto, Georgia, who passed away on November 4, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Gibson Hose Potts; her husband Ted Ivey; her daughter June Chester; and her siblings, Guy, Larry Potts and Francis Wiley.

She is survived by: her son David Chester (Gail); her sister Ann Watson; her grandsons, Brad (Callie) and Bryan Chester (Barbara); her great grandchildren, Anna Leigh, Charlotte, Ben, Zoey, Elizabeth and Sally; her close friends, Dave and Tammy Brannon; and also, Sally Colleene and Mary Wynn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the building fund at Lakewood Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
