He was predeceased by: his parents, James Whitney "Buddy" and Mary Elizabeth O'Cain Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Garrett of Gainesville; his daughter Christina Garrett; his son-in-law Steven Ford; his grandson Tyler Garrett; and his sister Benita Edwards. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
