She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lynn Prather and Grace Crittenden Prather; her husband William Kyle "Bill" Hancock; and her brother Robert Lynn "Bob" Prather, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Beverly; her son-in-law Wendell Turner of Gainesville; her son Kyle; her daughter-in-law Lisa Hancock; her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Kelley Hancock of Iowa City, Iowa.; her grandchildren, Allen Turner, Whitney Dunlop, Drew Turner, Ben Hancock, Graham Hancock, Liam Hancock, Ezra Hancock and Griffin Hancock; her great grandchildren, Raleigh Turner, Winnie Turner and Turner Dunlop; and her sister-in-law Emily Jones Bredeson of Macon, Georgia..

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Memorial Park (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504).
