He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry LaFayette Waters of Gainesville and Naomi Archer Waters (Jimmy) of Athens; and his brother Terry Waters of Athens. He is survived by: his wife Lavida Sosebee Waters; his children, Paige Waters Bennett (Chris) of Gainesville and Andy W. Waters (Meredith) of Statesboro; his grandchildren, Shelly Bennett of Columbia, SC, Ava Waters of Statesboro, Charlie A. Waters of Statesboro and Tess Waters of Statesboro; and his sister Lisa Waters of Ft. Myers, FL.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Lord and Stephens Funeral Home (1211 Jimmy Daniel Rd, Watkinsville, GA 30677). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
