He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Farr Sr. and Georgia Pearl Cason Farr; and his wife Joan Cronic. He is survived by: his sisters, Madelyn Farr Golomb and Carolyn Farr Mackay; his sons, Cason Farr (Cindy) and Harrison Farr (Shannon); his grandchildren, Tanner Farr, Mary Hampton Farr and McLendon Farr; his brother-in-law Jon Cronic; his nephew Thad Cronic (Christy); and his niece Christy Cronic.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the Jo Farr Scholarship Fund.
