She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal McClain and Carrie McClain (Cowan); her husband Joe S. Hatfield, Jr.; her granddaughter Katie Hatfield; her sister Betty Taylor (Katherine Leathers); and her siblings-in-law, Jennie Lewis, Betty Stockton and Sam Hatfield.
She is survived by: her children, Joe McClain Hatfield, Rosalyn of Clarkesville, GA and Betty Bowden Hatfield Goldberg of Gainesville, GA; her grandchildren, Carrie Alexandria Hatfield of Gainesville, Caroline Goldberg of Gainesville and Mariclaire Goldberg of Gainesville; her brother-in-law Jim Lewis of Birmingham, AL; and her nieces and nephews, Ann Dyal of Lebanon, TN, Sharon Stockton, Mary Johnson of Crane Hill, AL, Dr. A. T. Taylor (Tip) of Atlanta, GA and Jimmy Leathers of Melbourne Beach, FL. She is also survived by several great-nieces, nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
