It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Jean Jacobs (Gainesville, Georgia), born in Centerville, Georgia, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughters, Jean (Van Wilson), Robin Johnston (Ben), Jessie, Catherine Eagan, Emma Jean, Eliza (Greg), Gay Jacobs, Chris, Julie Schaefer, Kinsley (Conner), Jennifer Cullifer (Beau), Karla Jacobs and Abby (Daniel); her sister Marilyn; and her parents, Wideman Mason and Maude Mason.
She is survived by: her daughter Deems Wilson, Sr. (John); and her sister Becky Page.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of First Baptist Church (751 Green St, Gainesville, GA 30501).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Ministry of Caring or the Flower Committee at First Baptist Church, 751 Green Street NW, Gainesville, GA 30501.
