She was predeceased by : her parents, Julian Mays and Laura Joe Mays; and her brother Levi Mays. She is survived by : her husband Aubrey Boyce; her daughter Laurie Boyce Bos (Troy); her sister Julie Brightwell (David); and her niece Laura Paige Brightwell. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Gainesville (2780 Thompson Bridge Rd, Gainesville, GA 30506).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Peabody High School Scholarship at GCSU at Campus Box 96 Milledgeville, GA 31061.
