He is survived by: his parents, Carlos Vega and Maria Vega; his wife Francisca Garcia of Gainesville; his children, Marisol Vega, Karla Susana Vega, Carlos Andres Vega and Mario Antonio Vega; his stepson Jaime Lira; and his siblings, Marco Vega, Maricela Martinez of Gainesville, Patricia Cisneros of Gainesville and Blanca Nichols of Gainesville.
