She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Thurmond and Fannie Thurmond; her brothers, Floyd Thurmond, Almond Thurmond, Hubert Lee Thurmond, Aaron Thurmond and Roosevelt Thurmond; and her grandson William Alexander Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Lipscomb (Sandra), Eddie Lipscomb (Andrea), Kiawanne Scott (William) and Octavia Burns (Linwood); and her goddaughter Gloria McCluskey. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Memorial Park (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504).
