It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Wood of Gainesville, Georgia, born in Talmo, Georgia, who passed away on June 18, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Bonnie departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Bonnie. Though Bonnie may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Wood and Mae Bell Gee Wood; and her brothers, Larry Joe Wood and Danny Wood. She is survived by: her daughter Ashley; her son-in-law Sam Sliger of Gainesville; her grandchildren, Sloane Mae Sliger and Samuel'Bo'Sliger; her niece Macie Wood of Commerce, GA.; and her close friend Bonnie.
