With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby Gene Hayes of Gainesville, Georgia, born in Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on November 11, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charlie and Mary Ann Self Hayes; his brothers, Jewell Hayes, Ernest Hayes, James Floyd Hayes and Johnny Hayes; and his grandson Ian Benton.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Smith Hayes of Gainesville; his children, Sherry Hayes of Gainesville and Randy Hayes of Gainesville; his sister Betty Hambrick of Tampa, FL; and his grandchildren, Ansley Shoun, Mackenzie Hayes, Brianna Thomas and Alex Hayes.
