He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Towson and Ethel Towson. He is survived by: his wife Janice Shumans Towson; his sons, Bobby G. Towson, Jr. and Timothy B. Towson; his grandchildren, Sara Towson and Joshua Towson; his great grandchildren, Baker Jeffries and Gracelynn Jeffries; and his sister Betty Williamson of Savannah. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
