He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Evans and Eunice Evans Bennett; and his siblings, Jack Evans and Debbie Bennett Orr. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Clayton Williams Evans of Gainesville; his daughter Lynne Evans of Blue Ridge; his grandson Weston Davenport (Dyana); his great grandchild Liam Davenport; his stepchildren, Rick Williams (Michelle), Dee Dettman (Mark) and Denise Tullis; and his brothers, Jerry Evans (Kay) of Helen, Max Evans (Glenda) of Ellijay and Harold Evans (Ann) of Ellijay. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
