We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Betty Strickland of Gainesville, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Reeves Burruss and Ruth Wallace Burruss; her husband Clifton Chamblee Strickland; and her siblings, Reeves, Leland, Ed, Larry, Maggie, Dorothy and Lucile.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa (Mitch Ralston) and Nancy Bruce (Beth Bruce Smith); her grandchildren, Reeves, Spencer, Anna-Mitchell and Brigham Ralston; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Dylan, Savannah Hall, McKenzie Hall, Sawyer and Gavin Smith; her siblings, Billy Burrus, Ineal Burton and Kathleen Pruitt; and also Dutton Hall. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home (355 Dawsonville Hwy, Gainesville, GA 30501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (3650 Browns Bridge Rd, Gainesville, GA 30504).
