Betty Stephens Spratling Obituary
Betty Stephens Spratling, age 88, of Gainesville, GA passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-seven years, Elmer Roy Spratling, Sr; and son-in-law, Reuben Davis. She is survived by her children, Nighta Spratling Davis of Hiawassee, GA, Mike Spratling of Flowery Branch, GA, Rick Spratling of Buford, GA, Don (Donna) Spratling of Oxford, AL, Elmer (Regena) Spratling of Buford, GA; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Lucy Stephens of Pennsylvania, Christine Hare of Franklin, TN; brother-in-law, Fred Hall of Dalton, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Spratling was born on April 10, 1933 in Resaca, GA. She received her education in Tishomingo, MS. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Buford, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
