She was predeceased by: her husband Joel Young; her mother Bessie Sailors Rippy of Lincolnton; her daughters, Marilyn Crouse of Gainesville and Teresa Pintos of Columbus, Georgia; and her brothers, Rock Sailors and Bob Sailors.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Crouse of Gainesville and Renee Elmore of Lincolnton. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
