She was predeceased by: her husband John Mark Carpenter; and her parents, Wyatt Gaines Hawkins and Lorena Tyner Hawkins. She is survived by: her children, Nancy (Tommy Hulsey), Kimberly (Steve Abrams), Barbara (Jeff Clement) and Chris (Janice). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
