She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Caroline Murphy (Talley) and John Elisha Murphy; her husband Walter Wilford Whitlow; her son Lendon Lee Whitlow; and her siblings, Robert Murphy, Clarence McVeigh Murphy, Millard E. Murphy (Cricket), Marion G. Murphy (Buster), Edna Stover and Mary Smith (Hazel).
She is survived by: her brothers, Joseph Murphy (Joe) and John Murphy, Jr.; and her children, Martha Sue Arrowood, Bonnie Crumley, Carlton Whitlow and Andy Whitlow. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
