She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Poole; and her son Sam Poole II. She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Poole Knotts (Dan Knotts) and Ellen Poole; her daughter-in-law Virginia Maguire Poole; her grandchildren, Carrie Knotts McDowell (Robert), Taylor Knotts Peña (Juan), Dan W. Knotts, Benjamin Norris (Angela), Sam Poole III (Holly) and Jennifer Poole Blazier (Dan); her great grandchildren, James McDowell, Alexander McDowell and Henry Peña; and her sisters-in-law, Marguerite Sheppard and Shirley Sheppard. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
