She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Davis and Dezzie Taylor Davis; her husband Emmitt Abner Buffington; her son Randall Buffington; and her siblings, Jo Evelyn Farr, Nell Mobley, Marvin Davis, James Davis and David Davis.
She is survived by: her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Tonita Buffington; her grandchildren, Chrisondra, Billy Ransom, Whitney and Will Chapman; her great grandchildren, Haylee Ransom, Mason Ransom, Skylar Chapman and Emmitt Chapman; her grandchildren, Ethan Carder, Addi Evans and Matthew Gee; and her close friends, Eboni Teasley, Cletus Agbor, Addisyn, Ari and Avah Teasley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
