He is survived by: his wife Tram Anh Thi Vo; his former wife Huong Nguyen (Ngo Thu); his children, Trinh Boswell (Chris Boswell), Jennifer Thuy-Tien McCall (Joshua McCall), Hoangtran Dang (Minh Hieu Nguyen), Tran Huyen Dang (Hoa Buu Le) and Calvin Chau; his grandchildren, Annamaria Koch, Kate McCall, Howell McCall, Xander Nguyen, Cayden Nguyen, Noelle Nguyen, Mandy Nguyen, Henry Kim Le and Hayden Le; his siblings, Nguyen Thi Than (family: Nguyen Hong Chi Va, Nguyen Ba Thang, Nguyen Thi Anh Nguyet) and Nguyen Van Quat; and his son Nguyen Nhat Nam. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
