He was predeceased by: his parents, Ester Lee and Lenor Montgomery Manders; his wife Willie Lucille Adams Manders; his sons, Anthony Davis and John Rebel Maddox; and his granddaughters, Candice Johnson and Emily Davis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cathy Peters, Edith Johnson and Cindy Leach. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews & other relatives.
