It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ardath Bennett of Gainesville, Georgia, born in Dallas, Georgia, who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert V. Partain and Floy T. Gamel Partain; her husband Rev. Robert Bennett (Pete); her brother Cecil Partain; and her close friend Gip Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Bennett of Winterville, GA, Steve Bennett of Dawsonville, GA, Rhonda Evans (Larry) of Dawsonville, GA, Elaine Gilvin (George) of Gainesville, GA and David Bennett (Carol) of Gainesville, GA.; her grandchildren, Whitney Strickland (Cliff), Danyelle Moore (Greg), Hannah Gilvin (Kyle), Mason Bennett, Ben Gilvin (Savannah), Lauren Bennett and Payton Goodwin; her great grandchildren, Bennett, Reed, Travis, Ryann Kate, Kai and Baylor; her brother Charles Partain (Margia); and her sister-in-law Ovilene Partain.
