He is survived by: his wife Rosa Chaires Martinez of Gainesville; his children, Rebecca Martinez (Felipe) of Mexico, Rocio Martinez (Samuel) of Mexico, Nancy Martinez of Gainesville, Abraham Martinez of Gainesville, Jose Martinez of Gainesville and Norma Martinez of Gainesville; his grandchildren, Mayte Velazco, Anna Velazco, Miriam Velazco, Paola Gasca, Felipe Gasca and Valeria Gasca; and his siblings, Rosina Martinez, Otilia Martinez, Alicia Martinez and Juan Carlos Martinez.
