He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Tanner and Mabel Stephens Tanner. He is survived by: his wife Martha Sosebee Tanner; his children, Linda Brecht (Anthony) of Hartwell, Mary Hele of Lula, GA., Daniel Tanner of Gainesville and Donna McAvoy (Jake) of Toccoa; and his brothers, Keith Wallace, Ronald Wallace and Thad Wallace.
