She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Gower and Ovice Whitlock Smith; her husband Boyd Rodney Smith; and her brother Douglas Whitlock Smith. She is survived by: her significant other Rod Smith; her son Andrew Michael Forrester of Chattanooga, TN; her grandsons, Keaton Forrester and Paxton Forrester of Chattanooga, TN; and her brother Macklyn Smith of Lawrenceville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Sierra Club or Elachee Nature Science Center.
