She is survived by: her children, William Bernstein, Jr. and Tricia of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her son-in-law Thomas Smigel, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her grandson Thomas Joseph Smigel, III; and her sisters, Angela Halstead of Gainesville and Sandra Hoffman of Gainesville. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
