He was predeceased by: his father Harold Couch; and his sister Debbie Couch Perotti. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Couch; his son Jonathan; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Couch; his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law Brent McKeehan; his grandchildren, Mattox Couch, Colton Couch, Emma McKeehan and Jaxon McKeehan; his sister Judy Daignault; and his brothers-in-law, Bruce Daignault, Marty Dudek and Mark Dudek.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 270 Peachtree Street #1040, Atlanta, Georgia 30303.
