It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adelaide E Hayes of Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Brown Hayes. She is survived by: her friends, Jack C. Myers of Gainesville, Tom, Anna Bowen of Clermont and Vicki Bently of Flowery Branch; and her pet Katie.

Dee was dedicated to preserving history and made a significant contribution to her time and effort in this endeavor.
