He is survived by: his sons, Michael Laye (Jackie) of LaGrange, GA, Tracy Laye of LaGrange, GA and Chuck Laye (Angela) of LaGrange, GA; his grandchildren, Christopher, Cortney and KeKe; his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Christan, Saria and PJ; and his siblings, Charlie Lewis Laye of Franklin, GA, Dorothy Laye, Margaret Laye of Atlanta, GA and Ella Mae Green of Bronx, NY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
