Wayne Sanders Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wayne Sanders of Franklin, Georgia, who passed away on June 6, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Wayne Sanders to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Smith Sanders and Eucal Ruth Hester Sanders; his wife Sara Sanders; his son Shannon Sanders; and his siblings, Sara Adams, Ella Mae Wright and Lewis Sanders.

He is survived by: his children, Traci Hammond (Shawn) and Shane Sanders (Hannah); his daughter-in-law Lynda Sanders of Franklin; and his adoptive son Mike "Moose" Thompson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a number of other relatives; and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to New Springs Church or Olive Branch Baptist Church.
